Privacy policy

What we collect

Account. Your email address and time zone. You sign in with one-time email codes, so there are no passwords to store.

Practice data. The routines, exercises, and library items you create (chords, scales, strumming patterns, tabs) along with your practice history and stats. We store these so your data syncs and survives a device change.

In-app purchases. Purchases such as tips are processed entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We only receive a transaction identifier to verify the purchase. We never see your payment details.

Error reports. When the app or our server hits an error, technical details of the failure are reported to Sentry (hosted in the EU) so we can fix bugs. These reports are not used to track you.

What we don't do

No ads, no analytics or behavioral tracking, and no selling or renting of your data. Ever.

Cookies

This website sets no cookies at all, so there's nothing to consent to. In the app, a sign-in session stored on your device keeps you logged in. It identifies your account and nothing else.

Emails

We send account emails, such as sign-in codes and a welcome message, through Resend.

Services we rely on

Your data is processed by a small set of providers: Fly.io (hosting and database), Resend (email delivery), Sentry (error reports), and Apple and Google (payments). None of them are permitted to use your data for their own purposes. Our servers and most of these providers are based in the United States, so wherever you use Easter Bunny from, your data is processed there under the protections described in this policy.

Security

All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted. No way of storing data is completely secure, but we also collect very little, which limits what could ever be exposed. If a breach ever affects your data, we'll let you know.

Data retention

We keep your data for as long as you have an account. When your account is deleted, everything associated with it is deleted too. Copies can remain in encrypted backups for a few days and in error reports for up to 90 days before they roll off.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to see the data we hold about you, get a copy of it, correct it, or delete it entirely, including your account. Email support@easterbunny.app from your account email address. The account deletion page explains exactly how that works. If you're in the EU, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll post the update here and revise the date at the top.
